Care Guide

For optimal results and sock longevity, follow these tips.

1. Putting on your compression socks

  • Wearing rubber gloves not only makes it easier to put on compression socks but also serves to safeguard the fabric from potential snags caused by fingernails or rings.

  • When putting on compression socks without gloves, be sure to remove any hand and wrist jewelry. Additionally, use care when dealing with zippers and Velcro fasteners on your footwear while wearing compression socks.

2. Washing your compression socks

  • To maintain the compression socks' original elasticity and effectiveness, remember to wash them and air-dry them after each use. Wash them in cold water on a gentle cycle, separately or with similar-coloured clothes.

  • For added protection, place your compression socks in a linen or mesh laundry bag before machine washing them. Use a gentle detergent and avoid bleach or fabric softeners, as these can affect the socks' elasticity.

3. After washing your compression sock

  • After washing, don't wring the socks; gently press out water. Then air-dry them. Do not tumble dry: the heat breaks down the elastic fibres that give the compression.

  • Dry them in the shade, away from direct sun, heaters and radiators. It's advisable to replace them every 3-6 months based on usage to maintain proper compression levels.
